Conference Registration
1) Access to the IWMPI Conference Portal
- Existing accounts remain valid. If you already have an account in the IWMPI conference portal, you can continue using it.
- Access via login. If needed, please use “Reset password” to regain access.
2) Registration for participants outside China
For participants from outside China, conference registration including paper handling is completed entirely via the IWMPI conference portal:
- Log in to the portal
- Complete your registration via the ticket/registration area
- Enter the billing address required by your institution during the process
- Payment of the registration fee must be made at the time of registration by credit card
Important: Each participant needs a separate account, as name badges and certificates are managed through the account. If possible, please purchase the conference ticket using the account of the person who will attend.
3) Registration for participants from China
For participants from China, the process is split:
- Conference registration via a separate link
- Paper handling fee via the IWMPI conference portal
- Access via login. If needed, please use “Reset password” to regain access.
- Choose “Paper Handling Fee (China Participants Only)” in ticket shop
Author Registration (for accepted contributions)
- Each accepted contribution requires its own conference registration.
- For inclusion in the conference program, one registration per submission is required by January 25, 2026.
IWMPI 2026 will be held as in-person meeting.

Full payment of the registration fee must be made at the time of registration by credit card. The amount is due immediately after notification of acceptance, latest together with the upload of your revised abstract or paper.
Registration for Authors
One registration is required for each accepted abstract or paper, respectively. Each corresponding author needs to be registered to the workshop latest on January 25, 2026.
Registration for Students
Reduced registration fees for students are only valid for students up to 27 years of age with a valid student ID. Please note: False student registrations do not allow for a cancellation and a complete refund, but will receive an invoice to cover the difference between the registration fees.
Cancellations
All cancellations and requests for refund must be made in writing and received on or prior to February 3, 2026. There will be a 100 € service charge for all refunds. Charges originating in the refund by bank transfer have to be paid by the payee.
In case of a cancellation after February 3, 2026 or a no-show, no refund will be made. False student registrations do not allow for a cancellation and a complete refund, but will receive an invoice to cover the difference between the registration fees.
You may appoint a replacement attendee at any time.
