Scope and duration of validity
The event ticket is valid if at least one leg in each direction is traveled on trains in the ICE / EC / IC product class. It is valid on local trains and Deutsche Bahn S-Bahn trains in the pre-carriage and/or onward carriage. It can also be used in parallel service on non-federally owned trains (NE). Parallel services are defined as services operated simultaneously by DB and other railroad companies on a train connection.
The tickets only entitle the holder to travel on the day(s) and on the trains (train connection) specified on the ticket. The event ticket is not valid on the Thalys or Eurostar, ÖBB Nightjet and on maritime transport.
The event ticket can be booked for a single outward or return journey for a period of 2 days before the start of the event or up to 2 days after the end of the event. The travel dates must be specified for the outward and return journey. The Flex event ticket is valid for a maximum of 2 days in each direction of travel.
The City-Ticket is included in timetable-based bookings for journeys over 100 kilometers (for detailed information on the City-Ticket and where exactly you can travel with it, see bahn.de/cityticket).
Geltungsbereich und -dauer
Das Veranstaltungsticket ist gültig, wenn mindestens eine Teilstrecke pro Richtung in den Zügen der Produktklasse ICE / EC / IC zurückgelegt wird. Es ist in Nahverkehrszügen sowie S-Bahnen der Deutschen Bahn im Vor- und/ oder Nachlauf gültig. In Nichtbundeseigenen Bahnen (NE) ist die Nutzung im Parallelverkehr ebenfalls möglich. Als Parallelverkehr wird definiert, wenn auf einer Zugverbindung die Linien gleichzeitig durch die DB und andere Eisenbahnverkehrsunternehmen bedient werden.
Die Fahrkarten berechtigen nur zur Fahrt an dem/den Tag/en und in den Zügen (Zugbindung), die auf der Fahrkarte genannt sind. Das Veranstaltungsticket gilt nicht im Thalys bzw. Eurostar, ÖBB Nightjet und im Seeverkehr.
Das Veranstaltungsticket kann für den Zeitraum von 2 Tagen vor Veranstaltungsbeginn bzw. bis 2 Tage nach Veranstaltungsende zur einmaligen Hin- bzw. Rückfahrt gebucht werden. Die Reisedaten müssen für die Hin- und Rückfahrt festgelegt werden. Je Fahrtrichtung gilt das Veranstaltungsticket Flex längstens 2 Tage.
Das City-Ticket ist bei der fahrplanbasierten Buchung ab einer Reiseweite über 100 Kilometern inkludiert (Detaillierte Informationen zum City-Ticket und wo genau Sie damit fahren dürfen, lesen Sie unter bahn.de/cityticket).

The UKSH parking garage is located on Ratzeburger Allee and is open 24 hours a day.

Parking fees in the garage are 1 Euro per started half-hour, up to a maximum of 20 Euros in 24 hours; thereafter, it is again 1 Euro per started half-hour. In the central area of the campus as well as in the access area to the emergency departments, parking costs 5 Euros per started hour, with a maximum of 50 Euros in 24 hours. Parking for less than 20 minutes is free of charge.

On the surrounding streets, such as Mönkhofer Weg, parking spaces may be available, but they could be limited or subject to charges. It is recommended to check local signs and parking restrictions.
