Most travelers to the United States must hold a valid visa and a passport valid for at least six months longer than the intended visit. If you do need a visa, please understand that the visa application process may take several months. An interview appointment is required for a visa application at all embassies and consulates. The wait time for this appointment varies, but may be as long as three months, with processing taking an additional month or more. As soon as you decide to attend the meeting, you should begin the process of applying for a visa.

ESTA Application: The documents you need to enter the United States of America may vary depending on where you are from. More information can be found at the www.estaapplication.us/en/.
Should you require an invitation letter, please understand that you either need to have an accepted abstract to the meeting or must be registered and paid in full. Should your visa application not be accepted, we will be happy to refund your registration fee. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to request a letter of invitation once you've registered or received your abstract acceptance notification.
The letter of invitation will be sent to you electronically as a scanned document (.pdf-format) to the e-mail address provided by you. It should be understood that the organisers can only issue an invitation which includes the period of the conference plus the Saturday and Wednesday directly before and after the conference, respectively.
Should it be necessary (e.g. because of visa regulations) to send the original letter of invitation by post, the participant has to bear all costs for the postal dispatch. For this purpose the participant will receive a separate invoice from the organizer. The participant will be provided with a tracking number after the letter of invitation has been sent.
